The countdown is on! Heart To Heart LLC is excited to welcome families from across Southern Nevada to our 2nd Annual Youth Empowerment Back To School Event on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at C.T. Sewell Elementary School in Henderson.
Thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors, community partners, volunteers, and donors, we're preparing to serve more than 2,000 students with the essential resources they need to start the 2026–2027 school year with confidence. This free, family-friendly event is designed to ensure local students have the tools they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
Equipping Students for Success
We believe every child deserves the opportunity to begin the school year feeling prepared, encouraged, and empowered. Students attending the event will receive essential back-to-school resources, including:
Backpacks
School supplies
Hygiene items
Snack packs
Haircut referrals to participating local barber shops
Families are also invited to enjoy a fun-filled morning together while treating themselves to delicious refreshments from Donut NV and receive family resources provided by Mingo Health Solutions.

The generosity of our community has been incredible, and we're so close to reaching our goal of serving every student who attends.

Celebrating 15 Years of Impact
For the past 15 years, the Heart To Heart Youth Empowerment Program has been committed to serving some of our community's most at-risk students by putting their social, emotional, and educational needs first.
Through mentorship, educational enrichment, community partnerships, and resource initiatives, the program has empowered 3,900 students across the Las Vegas Valley, helping young people build confidence, strengthen self-esteem, increase academic readiness, and develop the skills needed to succeed in school and beyond.
Our mission is simple: to put students first by providing the resources, encouragement, and opportunities they need to reach their fullest potential.
