BOLD Spotlight Intro Episode, 9-27-2020

All Things resilience, persistence, pushing through living with Chiari Malformation. A convo with Ashley Burney. Having brain surgery wasn’t an easy choice but it was the best choice. Living with #chiarimalformation has been quite a unique journey. One that boils down to mindset. I wanted to be around for my children, I no longer could take the debilitating pain, I knew the pain and suffering I would experience all day everyday. Having the first surgery, not knowing I would have a CSF leak was hard to endure. This required me to have a second brain surgery a week later. You might ask- what kept me going? The answer is FAITH + FAMILY. I am so blessed to have family and friends who’ve had my back since day 1.
