Financial Freedom- Thank you Charles Schwab!
Thank you Cassandra and Jillian from the Charles Schwab team. These ladies led an amazing session on Financial freedom. They discussed the Top 8 fundamentals of saving which include:
Contribute to your company’s retirement plan.
Pay off nondeductible, high-interest-rate debt -like credit cards.
Create an emergency fund to cover at least three months of essential living expenses.
Contribute the maximum allowed to tax-advantaged retirement accounts.
Save for child’s education.
Save for the down payment on a home.
Pay down other debt.
Keep investing.

YBIB Gives Back
Visited the St. Jude’s Ranch for Children campus and knew our donation of $1,200 would impact the lives of those served. Many children call St. Jude’s Ranch home. When coming onto the campus it is surrounded by nature’s beauty, sitting adjacent to Hoover Dam. Covering over 40 acres of land, the children have a sense of community and embraced daily by those who believe they can do anything they put their mind to.
The resources provided to the children daily, blew my mind. Hearing of the many success stories of recent graduates who’ve gone on to do AMAZING things is incredible knowing they’ve pushed through life’s toughest battles. They are an inspiration to all.
Donations, thrift store, volunteering, mentoring and workshops just to name a few are ways you can get involved. With a few campuses located throughout the valley be sure to check out stjudesranch.org for more information.

Unified as one, embracing their BOLD. From the time I walked in the room, I saw what was once a dream now a reality. It was a rush of pure joy knowing the long days and nights, pushing through not having all the answers nor resources just knowing God would provide. YBIB panelists were authentic in sharing their journeys. We were able to get nuggets of hope, embracing our individual talents, gifts and treasures. Not being afraid of hearing YES, overcoming abuse as a child, channeling your inner strength, embracing your “YOU” feeling empowered to take the next step, being unapologetic about career decisions, breaking “glass-ceilings” and embracing the scrapes and bruises that come along with that journey, knowing when to end abusive relationships both physically, verbally and emotionally, not allowing the opinions of others to put you in a box and the power of forgiveness.
